Photo Sessions

Photo sessions of a single dog are scheduled in 90 minute increments. Should you decide to add an additional pet to your sitting, another 30 minutes will be added to the length of your photo shoot along with a nominal fee.

Each photo session includes:

  1. A pre-shoot consultation
  2. A handout of what to expect during the shoot and a list of things you should do to prepare for the session
  3. Web gallery of your pet’s photos from your sitting
  4. One set of proof sheets
  5. Credit toward a 60 minute consultation with Barbara to help you select your images
  6. An archive of your images, which will be kept at the studio to allow you to order at any time

Will I be involved in my pet’s session?

You are encouraged to be an active participant in the photography session. Our goal is to get your dog to reveal himself and have lots of fun while doing so. If you are inclined you may join your canine family member for a portion of the frivolity and the photos.

Image options

Besides the traditional prints in a variety of sizes and formats, Karant Canines can feature you pet’s images on canvas or vinyl wall murals, on jewelry, note cards, handbags, chocolates, cookies and shoes. Barbara can also work with you to design wall montages for your home or office. Pricing for these options varies on quantities ordered so please call the studio for more information.

Model Releases

Each photo session requires full payment and signed model release. All pets photographed by Barbara have the opportunity to be immortalized in more than just your home or office.
